Purpose of the tour:
The Acoustics 2023 Sydney Conference Organising Committee invites delegates to visit the Australian Hearing Hub – home to a world-leading community transforming hearing and communication – and other world-class facilities and organisations including Cochlear at Macquarie University on Thursday 7 December.
The Australian Hearing Hub unites researchers, educators, clinicians and innovators with expertise in linguistics, audiology, speech pathology, cognitive and language sciences, psychology, nanofabrication and engineering sciences. As a state-of-the-art facility the Australian Hearing Hub has attracted industry leaders to drive innovation and collaboration. Members include: Hearing Australia, National Acoustic Laboratories, The Shepherd Centre, Cochlear Limited, NextSense, Macquarie University Hearing.
The Australian Hearing Hub is home to outstanding facilities including the anechoic chamber and the KIT-Macquarie Brain Research (MEG) Laboratory. The agenda for the tour appears below. For more information visit Hearing Hub.
