PS Plus Deluxe in Australia: Full Guide
PS Plus Deluxe in Australia offers enhanced benefits over the standard PlayStation Plus membership, including cloud streaming, a larger game catalog, and exclusive discounts. While not all features are available at launch, the tier is designed for players who want access to classic titles and high-end streaming without owning a disc.
This guide covers what PS Plus Deluxe includes, how it compares to Essential and Premium, pricing in AUD, and which features are live for Australian users. It also explains compatibility, internet requirements, and tips for maximizing your subscription value.
What PS Plus Deluxe Offers
The Deluxe tier includes all benefits of Essential—online multiplayer, monthly games, and exclusive deals—plus a growing library of classic PS1, PS2, and PSP titles available for download or streaming. It removes ads from the game catalog and adds exclusive upgrade paths for select titles.
Cloud streaming allows access to PS5 games without downloading, useful for players with limited SSD space. However, streaming requires a stable 5 Mbps connection and may have input lag depending on network quality. Not all games support streaming in Australia yet.
Deluxe vs. Essential vs. Premium
Essential is the base tier, ideal for online play and monthly free games. Deluxe adds the classics catalog and cloud streaming. Premium includes all Deluxe features plus time-limited game trials and additional regional content like game catalogs and demos.
Australian users currently have access to Deluxe but not all Premium features. Pricing reflects this, with Deluxe costing less than the full Premium tier. Choose based on whether you value classic games and streaming over trials and regional extras.
Tips for Australian Subscribers
Subscribe through the PlayStation Store using AUD to avoid conversion fees. Consider family plans if multiple users need access—PS Plus supports up to five accounts. Keep your internet speed above 15 Mbps for smooth cloud gameplay.
